Colleen, I love your tutorials, keep them coming.
I've used the lightest weight interfacing to do this years ago. I notice two comments talk about freezer paper, is this the same as Wax paper? We don't have freezer paper here in the Caribbean. If it is wax paper how do you get it to stick to the pattern?
If you put your pins vertical to the edges, your pieces will cut out correctly and you won't have the issues you have with your cut pieces not matching your pattern pieces.
I have also used freezer paper - works great. Colleen - I love your videos and - NO - it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that we have the same first name. LOL
