By all means measure down where you need to start the ruffles and work you way up to the top, Very cute!

really lovely but would'nt it be easier to start at the bottom, then the other frills would'nt be in the way?

When I was a teenager in the 60's I had a top very similar my mother maid from red gingham check. It was a crop top. I loved it. This video brought back good memories.

Very cute, just love ruffles. I have a granddaugher who will love a top like this one. Thanks for sharing. Or, same concept on a purse. How cute would that be.

Great! Thanks for sharing. I can really see taking this concept and turning it into a full dress with the same layered ruffle top for Spring.
