Note that Viking machine owners have the walking foot capability built in to your machine. Use the needle down position...the foot lifts and lowers with every stitch...which is the same as a walking foot. For a knit you can also use the knit stitch...it looks like a little lightening stitch...go to a 3mm stitch length. If it is really stretchy fabric, use wooly nylon in the bobbin so the threads will stretch but not break.
