I can't seem to manage on the bias portions. When I'm going with the grain, I do fine, but when I get to the parts that are on the bias, I can't seem to get it. The fabric tends to pop out of the foot. Any suggestions?

I have a project that I've been postponing because I was intimidated by sewing a narrow hem on a sheer fabric. I feel more confident about tackling that project now that I know how to use that mysterious foot. Thank you!

Great video - Good tip on starting the hem by taking a few stiches with the fabric rolled already.
