Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

Sew Simple! What an easy sewing project and great gift idea! Dig out those old sweaters and sweatshirts and keep a pup toasty this winter! There was no tutorial available, however the picture demonstrates everything we need to do to make this doggy coat or sweater for a fraction of the price!

I would serge or bind the raw edges...  I make binding out of strips of tshirt knit very easily.  For a dog sweater/coat, it would probably be fine if you did not want to use a cotton, or bias tape, etc.  Remember, t-shirt knit won't unravel.

For larger dogs try using large or extra large sweatpants.
