You were right about using the black shashing. It frames the colorful swirils beautifully!

Wow! this is so beautiful! It makes me want to get the pattern and piece a quilt, and that's not easy to do, as I really like to finish projects in 1 or 2 days.

Thanks Everyone, that was a wedding gift for my niece, she is young and vibrant and when I asked what colors she liked she said, all colors bright and bold, no pastels.
I thought with the colors and patterns on the fabric it just had to sit on a black background.
