Hi Jackie, the dotted purse is now in a gift shop so I can't take an exact measurement but I think it is about 9"high by 12" wide. Actually, a nice size, not too big, not too small and the width is enough to get inside easily without being too wide. I added inside pockets and yes, I also prefer the tabs and rings and use them on just about all purses I make now. I also have found the round rings function the best. My plan is to make more of that style maybe with one outside fabric instead of two. Since I purchased a machine that embroiders I found the need to become more familiar with cm/mm so now all my rulers have both measurements included. Check out www.metricconversions.org for a printable conversions chart. Its handy.

Hi Arlene, Thank you so much for the information. I printed out the free pattern for the dotted purse and I think it's just what I'm looking for....something fast and easy. However, I like the handles on your purses much better. (The tabs and rings). Also, since I don't know how to measure in centimeters, could you tell me what the finished measurements are?
Thank you so much for your help and advice.

Hi Jackie, the purse is "basically" vogue pattern V8214. If you decide to get the pattern and want me info on some changes I made let me know. Also check out the free pattern I used on the dots purse. I think you can do a yahoo search for "dotted dream purse" to easily find it. Or go to www.ottobredesign.com and find their free patterns. It's an easier purse to make and should be easy to enlarge a little if you wanted a bigger purse.
Good hunting.

Hi, I really like your bags. I have just recently bought fabric and supplies to make a few bags for Christmas presents, but I haven't found a pattern I really like. Is this pattern available or is it your own design? Very nice.
