Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I love making my own purses but I am now working full time so I dont have the time like I used to. SOOOOO I bought this AWESOME purse from Thirty-one and then I got a brilliant idea to make my own skirts to go on the Thirty-one purse. I have made several with many combination of skirts that goes on this purse shell. I will be making several more. Each of the flowers are also handmade with either fabric or ribbon.
The pattern and instructions can be found for FREE at
365 days of Simplicity She has an awesome tutorial. I just added pockets to my design on the outside of the skirt.
