Summer Chevron Swing Top Tutorial by Brassy Apple

Megan of "Brassy Apple" shares her tutorial demonstrating how to make a cool chevron top for the warm summer months. The body of the shirt is crafted from a couple of squares of knit/jersey fabric, so, there's no hemming or edging required! Megan also appliques a chevron design, however, that of course is optional and you could leave your top plain, or embellish it in other ways.

Check it out and make it your own!

You will need:

1 yard of knit/poly fabric
scissors
measuring tape
straight pins
Seam ripper
sewing machine
coordinating thread
optional: chevron stencil/template pattern to trace (my chevron was 2 - 2.5" wide)
Tip: Don't forget to use the ballpoint sewing needle!
