Hi Debbie

Re my Cockerel Apron - I didn't use a pattern, I went on Google and searched "cockerel" in Images.  I found this image (which came from this website  and printed off to the size I wanted.

I traced around each feature in the different colours - had to lose a little detail -  onto Bondaweb and then applied it to the fabrics.  I used a tracing of the whole design to help position the pieces on the pocket, starting with the feet, bonding them then stitching round them then adding the next layer.

Hope this helps!

You have a beautiful quilt! I just love it! By the way, my last name is Weaver. It would be interesting to know the background into on how your city received it's name. Just curious.... lol Julie

Thanks for the comments. I wasn't sure if I had resonded to you posting on my page. lol This is the phase of my life's jouney that I am in. If I don't write myself notes about some things, I am clueless. If I do write myself notes I only have to hope I know where the note is. lol Is your "capri " quilt an photo transfer project or did you actually find fabric with that print on it? Nice job. brenda
