I love all things crafty. I've been rubber stamping since 1995, painting since I could walk and I've been sewing for about 40+ years.
I had my own sign painting business for about 18 years but have been retired from the business for a long time.
I work part-time for a newspaper as a community page editor and news assistant.
I feel very blessed to have my own little craft studio we built in 2009. It is a joy to be in there creating gifts for friends and family.
My sewing interests are:
home decor, quilting, embroidery
My sewing machine(s):
Necchi sewing machine; Janome serger; Brother SE350 sewing/embroidery machine purchased in May '08. I love this machine. It's the best thing I've ever sewn on.
I traced around each feature in the different colours - had to lose a little detail - onto Bondaweb and then applied it to the fabrics. I used a tracing of the whole design to help position the pieces on the pocket, starting with the feet, bonding them then stitching round them then adding the next layer.
Thanks for the comments. I wasn't sure if I had resonded to you posting on my page. lol This is the phase of my life's jouney that I am in. If I don't write myself notes about some things, I am clueless. If I do write myself notes I only have to hope I know where the note is. lol Is your "capri " quilt an photo transfer project or did you actually find fabric with that print on it? Nice job. brenda
