Wow, I haven't checked my email in months. It is full of over 700 emails all junk mail and scams! And of course it takes forever to mark them as junk. I will be at this for hours!

Anyways, Just want to wish everyone a happy quilting day! Dont be shy, feel free to add me as a friend!

Hello greenjelly. Do you have any quilts photos to post? Your play on words ("prowl") was clever, a little It is snowing quite alot here today. Glad I am inside today. You said you like kaleidascope quilt patterns...Have yoou made any of Jenny Beyer's patterns? I think she mostly published patterns in book form, but I'm sure that you could check her books out at your local library. Happy quilting.

Hello, and thank you for the invite. I haven't done much here lately, have been too busy elsewhere. I make baby and lap quilts, do some knitting but haven't had much time to do what I love. Volunteering can take up a lot of time but it is for a good cause. I enjoy trying new things. I just finished a diaper bag. Will post a photo later. Happy sewing!

I also love the history of quilts and have collected a few. I have rescued a few from trash piles at the road and cannot believe that someone would throw them away when so much work and love went into the construction of them. One of them is very old as it has the cotton batting inside and needs a few repairs. I just haven't had time to research how to clean and repair it.

Thank you Green Jelly for the invite. I'm new here and look forward to exchanging ideas for new projects. I mainly like to sew children's clothes, but am always looking for interesting things to sew. I'm currently sewing custom flat and fitted sheets, as well as matching pillowcases.

Hello and welcome from Metairie, LA. I love to sew and am learning to quilt. Do you do all of your quilting and piecing by hand ? My great grandmother did all her quilting by hand but I think she did her piecing on a machine.
