My blindhemmer is a Tacsew. It is a great machine and priced just right. I found it on line. Just google blindhem machine. This came from somewhere in mississippi. I am sorry I don't remember the name of the company, but try to find one that has free shipping.
Hi Kerri, you sound like me, I love to sew also. The alteration's business can be fun but also take up alot of your time. It really has helped me in the past 30 or so years, no matter where I go, I take my cards and let people know that I do alterations. I try to hand out cards as much as possible. I also do custom sewing, so the alterations always leads to a custom sewing project. I also try to have things ready made so that people can look through my rack, sometimes they find things they like on the rack. My church members have been very supportive of me. I have been wanting to get to Memphis for as long as I can remember, my best friend in High school was from Memphis. My husband is from TN. He retired and we moved her to Paris. I like living here. Let's keep in touch. Any questions that you have about the alterations business or anything that I can help you with I will be glad.
