I got this idea from Cherie but instead of using an oatmeal container, I used my daughter's empty cans of milk. I've put a cup of sand (or rocks) for each can to have some weight and make it stable. You can glue the lids back on or tape…

I think the sewing bug has really been biting on me this week! I have been making hair bows (but have no one to give them to), pillowcase dresses (no one to give them to), unmentionable purse pouches, fleece hats for this winter for Grandson Noah, age 2, and have a pair of jeans that I''m gonna try to make into a skirt....the kind where you cut off the jeans just below the zipper and add fabric to the bottom... Also, I'm just about to die to go to our local thrift store for a few tee shirts…

It seems like just yesterday that I joined this wonderful network of friends, and believe it or not, it has been a year!! (or a bit more) Family emergencies and life seem to hit us like a brick wall, and then it takes us some time to get over the bruises and injuries of hitting that wall.
