Possible Labeling Technique? Paint Thinner and Laser Printing

I found this and thought I'd share since I see a lot of you ask about labeling your garments and anything you might make to sell.  I am concerned about applying paint thinner to synthetics - so please do a test before you try this on ANY FABRIC.  Please don't send me a photo of a ruined project. ;)

Sofa Built of Pillows

I stumbled on this photo of this sofa and wondered how exactly they were able to create a stable "framework" using these pillows so that it keeps it's shape.  This is a neat idea, but I do wonder if it actually works.…

Wrapping fresh bread in ordinary kitchen towels is an excellent way to keep it nice and fresh throughout the day.  This is a very quick, easy, inexpensive, and useful craft item.  If you don’t bake your own bread, these bags are good storage for artisan breads you buy in a bakery as well.  These bags would make nice housewarming gifts - of course with some fresh bread…

Embroidered Graffiti - by Sarah Greaves

Sarah Greaves is a Manchester (UK) based artist who uses embroidery to graffiti on to every day objects.  The debut solo exhibition of what Sarah has called "embroidered graffiti" is to show a very different sort of needlework to the sewing and samplers that many would associate with the art form.  This art exhibit is a must see.
