Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I seem to start one every week.

The one in my profile picture is one I took a class for, so I could finish a quilt, and this one still isn't done! The flower ring in the middle is supposed to have 4 flowers on it, but she taught us an appliqué technique that I didn't like, so left it as is. There will be "stitch in the ditch" quilting around the stars and along the lines in the log cabin blocks; right now, just the blocks are outlined. It should be hung, but I use it as a throw. It even has a sleeve on the back, thats not completely sewed down. :D

Right now, I have the following on the go:

Jessica's Quilt - started October 2007
Kyla's 2007 Birthday Gift - started October 2007
Chinese Puzzle Quilt - Started April 2007 (still hanging on the back of my bedroom door, waiting to be quilted and bound)
My Diamond Ring Quilt - Started September 2007 (profile picture, waiting for more quilting and for the sleeve to be sewn on)
Snowman table runner- Started January 2007
March St Paddy's Walling Hanging - Started March 2008
White tie up shirt - started January 2008
Jelly Roll Quilt - started April 2008
Honey Bee Club - started February 2008 (taking class, 3 blocks behind)
Star Bright Block of the Month - started January 2008 (of course this is a UFO!!)
May Flowers Wall Hanging - started May 2008

Every time I write them down, the list gets longer, and nothing gets taken off. Is this normal for a beginner quilter?
