Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I love making summer dresses and playing with different patterns to get just the right look I am looking for. When I am looking at a pattern I look to see what other types of styles can I make with that one pattern. I also like to inter-change my patterns to create a new design.
This dress was created using the McCalls Pattern #4450.
I cut the pattern to the length I desired and then cut the fabric out. I used a somewhat silky sheer fabric and used a black jersey stretch knit as the lining.
