Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I'm in the mood for Easter sewing - finally!

I have for you today, a free Easter Bunny bag sewing pattern and tutorial, and a tutorial to show you how to make Easter carrots to put in the bag.  FUN!

I'm not typically excited by most holidays for some reason.  Maybe it's because my kids are now a lot older and I'm not inspired by classrooms, day care centers, or their child-like excitement for the celebration.  However, after a few hours on Pinterest, and some fabric I found in my stash, I'm inspired to make some Easter things!

The free Easter bunny bag is an easy bag.  A couple of pastel fat quarters, some white scraps, a couple of buttons for eyes and some HeatnBond is all you need to stitch this little cutie up!

Take a break once you've finished the bag.  Hang it somewhere where everyone can see it!

Once you have more time to make some Easter carrots, watch this free video tutorial by Jenny Doan, and you're in business!

If you make the bag, and/or the carrots, upload a photo!!!
