Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

Woohoo!!  I'm very, very happy.

Very releived.

I have met my deadline, and I have completed the 70th anniversary bed runner. I'm taking it to my firend tomorrow.

The problems I had were solved by lots and lots of very careful pinning before sewing, quite a bit of unpicking, quite a few cups of tea and even an hour away from the work to watch some fav tv programme.

Then, it all came together and I took photos of it, but have had a lot of trouble with Picasa (a photo programme on my PC) so I don't know when I can load them onto this site.  But they're on my camera so they are safe.

I have just spent a pleasant hour tidying up my sewing room, labelling a couple of shoeboxes I got, finding pins that I dropped and have stuck themselves in my carpet (!) and generally feeling quite releived the pressure is off because I have finished my latest project.

What next?

I have some projects in the pipeline that I intend to do at some time or other.

Until, then...

Good job Judith!  It is pretty satisfying when the project gets done...even more so when it has been a challenging one, I think.  Can't wait to see the pictures!  Take care

Jamie
