Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

So far I have only 3 New Year's resolutions.

1. Get myself organizes...AGAIN!!!
2. Lose weight.
3. Spend more time sewing.
Maybe I'll leave it at that. I should be able to accomplish that in one year. Any one else have a list started yet? Oh, and 1 more. Finish projects that I start.

How did you do in 2008...with your resolutions? Did you have to make the same ones again in 2009? I did. It is so hard to stay focused with life biting at our heels. Good luck in 2009.

Happy New Year!
Wish you all the best with your goals...I'm feeling 2009 is going to be a much better year :D

I am very determined to do it this year. My hubby is in it with me because he needs to lose some as well. He is also "pre-diabetic" so there is a added benefit for him to exercise. I don't have a treadmill but there is a park with a walking track just a few blocks away so we will walk every evening (weather permitting). I have been wanting to go back to school but rght now it just isn't possible with my children just starting college and finishing high school. I'll save that for the ollowing year.

Ummm... when I weighed in at work the other night and discovered that I weigh more now than with ANY of my pregnancies, I decided it was time to get straight again. So I have already started my Weight Watchers point system again and dusted off the ol faithful treadmill.
Hubby is on board with me, so that's a major plus this time around too!
I also want to be able to sew more this year too, but I'm not sure that will be feasible with going back to school in March, but we'll see...
We'll do it this year! Have faith!
