Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

Well I'm not really big on blogging but going to give it a try here. I decided today to get my sewing room better organized so it will be easier to use my embroidery machine while sewing. I hope to start a quilt for my granddaughter Addison soon. I just have to make a final decision on what pattern to use.  First I was going to do a dresden plate pattern and the thought about doing SunBonnet Sue. I will probably go with SunBonnet Sue in shades of pinks. I also want to make Addy some dresses for the summer.

So many projects in mind now if I can secure the time!

You have a very nicely organized sewing room and you have inspired me to do mine as well. I have a grandson that i would love to make a quilt for as a keepsake but I have never quilted before so that is a future project that I am contemplating very seriously. I was wondering is your other machine a Janome?  I have a new Singer that I got myself for Christmas and a Janome that I purchased from our local pawn shop. It has been nice blogging with you maybe you can share your quilting experience with me.

Wow, your sewing room looks so nice and tidy!  I am in the process of putting together my sewing room and trying to organize it so I'm really interested in seeing how others have utilized their space.  Thanks for sharing. :)
