Cute!  I have a huge metal can (old, old cracker tin) that was my mothers - full of buttons.  That would really be nice with some of the really old buttons on it.  Thanks!!

Hello Susan:  This button jar quilt looks exactly like the pattern for a Bug Jar quilt.  I have all the 'bug' pieces but I have not been able to find a pattern.  Have you ever come across one?  could you let me know where I might get one?  I got ahead of myself and promised the quilt to my grandson before I actually had the pattern.  Every couple of months his mom asks me how the quilt is coming along....a bit embarrassing.

how cute! Great way to use buttons. Would be a wonderful wallhanging in the sewing room!
