Sports Bra from Jogging Pants Tutorial - Recon!

Our very own
TawnyB had these super cute (yet way too short) jogging pants she didn't wear any longer. They were originally maternity joggers which was great when she had a belly with a baby inside but now, to wear them around her waist, the pant legs are somewhere between her knees and her ankles. Not the look she was going for!
TawnyB thought the waistband is so nice, she couldn't waste it! So with her creativity and some sewing know how, she flipped those jogging pants upside down and made a great sports bra that looks *very* comfortable!

Check it out! TawnyB shares with us how she made it!

I think this idea is brilliant.  Sports bra's are so expensive to buy.  Super smart TawnyB!!!

You are a smart cookie, figuring out the sports bra, and also the cute ear muffs, I am impressed. I like to make stuff from things I already have, believe me, you are not a dummy. You are very sharp. Thanks for the information.

Great idea! Why can't I think of these things. I will have to make a few. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for featuring my tutorial. I've been having a really fun time this month reconstructing and repurposing all my old maternity wear and lots of the kids' outgrown clothing.

I'm totally making all my sports bras this way from now on. :)
