By BRUCE MOUNSTER A QUILT delivered to Dogs' Homes of Tasmania's Risdon Vale facility yesterday has dogs all over it. The dog-inspired quilt, called Walkies, is the outcome of Hobart quilting group Quilt-Inn's annual retreat at Steeles Island last September. That was where the idea was born for the work, which has been donated to the dogs' home as a fundraiser. The workload was shared by 21 group members who made the individual squares, each containing an image of a dog, most of them their own pets. Finally, three women took three days to join the squares together to create the 1.67m by 1.99m quilt. Two weeks ago Walkies won first prize at Hobart's Craft and Quilt fair. [
