Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I finished this great wallhanging today! Well, it still needs to be quilted, but I'll do that soon. This design was offered by Moda Fabrics and I used their line of Tranquility fabrics. It has so much movement and color. You can find that pattern here: http://www.modabakeshop.com/2010/02/off-grid-sliced-nine-patch-quil.... It always amazes me when I see a line a fabric and think: "That doesn't seem to go together very well" But, once you put it all together it looks great! Thank goodness for Sandy Gervais and other great designers!

Beautiful, a quilt with depth. I love dimensional works and this one has so many beautiful colors. This quilt says heirloom all over it. Great job!
