Tutorial: Hanging Fabric Baskets Or Pockets

I could not resist showcasing this tutorial! Such a useful and easy idea for any room in your house... This tutorial is very well developed and presented, my hat is off to the author Destri, founder of The Mother Huddle.

what you need:

  • Fabric – how much you need depends on how big and how many you make, we’ll go over this

  • Heavy weight interface lining – you want it stiff enough to hold its shape

  • All your sewing stuff

  • Curtain rod or wooden dowel with brackets to hang it on

I think it would be a good idea to use velcro in making the hanging part. That way you could take them off the rod without taking it down and all the others off on either side of the one you wanted.

How fun! This should work great for the magnetic towel bar I have on the fridge.
