Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

Remember that "short story" by Hemingway, "For sale: Baby shoes never worn."?? What a hoot...anyway, if somebody's selling an unused monkey forehead, I'm in the buying business.

*sigh*

OK, OK! It's too late for him... I know. He's just short headed and he'll have to learn to love himself, that's all. It's not his fault that I created his pattern without a forehead. I'm not sure anyone else will accept him, but when it's a free toy, people really shouldn't really be choosy right?

P.S.
Today I've had two offers to give this monkey a home. Since he was going to be one of my drop-offs, I figured, I'd just pass him along to one of you guys...what's the difference, right? Then I was given a window into the world of one of our Sew What's New members who made an offer...a teeny tiny glimpse of cancer survival and though it was a tiny glimpse, it really touched my heart and I think he needs to belong to her. Maybe he was made just for her, who knows! So Christie Stanton, you've just gotten yourself a little monkey : )

*pattern available*

I had so many ask for the pattern that I thought, since I didn't know how to create a PDF pattern, I'd just create one the old fashioned way and send it the old fashioned way. $5 will cover the cost of creating & shipping. if you'd like one, send me an e-mail!

I think he is soooo cute! I like having the ones that don't look perfect, that's what makes them a one of a kind.

Positively hugable! He's perfect for cuddling under one's chin. If he had a forehead it wouldn't fit under the chin nearly as well. I have a three year old granddaughter (look left - she's on my lap) who would adore his snuggles. :)

I think he's cute with a tiny forehead. He looks very friendly because of his big open face. X
