Hi Sandy, saw that you went to Panama every so often. I am a Canal Zone brat who now lives in Tennessee. Miss my home. You are so lucky to live in Costa Rica. I have the Husqvarna Rose and Designer SE and love them both.

Hey Sandy! I ended up getting a Bernina Aurora 430. It came w/the software. I have it installed to a dedicated laptop. I'm hoping to start embroidering today after Sam finishes w/school. Can't wait to get up to snuff and be able to design like you! I'll PM you later. Happy Thursday!

Hi Sandy! I had to laugh when I read your tip on applique. I actually figured that out AFTER I'd already cut the letters out. Too late then huh?? Excellent advise though. Wish I'd asked before I cut them out - oops! Thanks for the tips!

Thanks so much for the compliment. It was so much fun to make this quilt and I'm so glad everyone seems to like it. I can't believe all your stuff is gone. I'd be devasted! Of course, you'd need a seperate moving truck just for all me sewing room stuff!

Hey Sandy! Sorry you're having troule navigating around SWN. Let's try to meet up and chat about it. I'm off to church right now, but I'll look for you later this afternoon. Or tell me when is a good time for you.

Oooh! Panama sounds like fabulous fabric shopping! It's on my list of place to visit. Actually, my FIL would love to re-locate to Costa Rica. I may need to PM you and ask a bunch of questions about what it's really like to live there as an ExPat. :o)

Thank you for your welcome. I digitized a design today and saved it then hit the wrong button and lost all my work. Won't be sewing till Tues. Going to panama tomorrow only 45 minutes from where I live right now. Have to leave Costa Rica every 90 days. I really like Panama things are so cheap there and good fabric stores in David. Movie Theater is only $1.25 the snacks are more than the movie. I use to be vice president of a quilting guild haven't quilted in 10 years. Too Hot here.

Welcome to SWN, Sandy! :o) In answer to your 'What are you sewing today?" I'm going to start my first quilt for my youngest son. How about you? What are you sewing?
