Professional Dress Form: Unboxing & Review | SEWING REPORT

A dress form is a three-dimensional model of the male or female torso. A dress form is used for fitting and designing garments to be sewn. When using a dress form to create a garment, the garment is placed on the dress form so that one can see the fit and drape of the fabric. It is then that adjustments or alterations are made. Dress forms come many different sizes and shapes for almost every piece of clothing in existence. Dress forms in standard clothing sizes are used to make patterns. Adjustable dress forms help us create garments to be tailored to fit a particular person perfectly.

Purchasing a dress form is a big investment for any sewer. Jennifer Moore from the Sewing Report shares her thoughts and experiences un-boxing and assembling a professional dress form with all of it's features and functions.
