These machines are getting harder and harder to find especially if you want one in good condition ready to run. They are heavy, solid, smooth, powerful, and will last many lifetimes with some care and oil.

I also forgot to mention that the Singer 319 only has a .55 amp motor so it is about 1/2 the power of some other automatic stitch machines:
